How We Met

We met in California in 2008 while working at Accenture.  We would see each other at work events however we did not start dating until March 2009 when we carpooled to Vegas for a weekend.

We ate at the classy Croonies bar in exciting Simi Valley on a Friday afternoon.  We decided that we would carpool to Vegas.  I had a birthday party and he had friends who were going there. That same weekend we went, everyone in LA seemed to think it was a good idea to head towards Vegas and it took us 8 hours to get there. A long car ride and a weekend in Vegas, we started dating.

Our Proposal

In the fall 2012, Scott tried to propose 2 times before finally asking over Thanksgiving out overlooking a lake. The first time, we wanted to go camping but could not find a cabin, the second time we were going to go to dinner but Hana had to go to the emergency vet.

We recently bought a town home in Dublin, OH in the spring of 2012. We live there with our two animals: a dog named Hana and a cat named Sydney. We enjoy spending our time going on hikes/parks with Hana, having friends over and traveling.  We also enjoy watching Sydney trying to catch snowflakes.

I grew up in Northeastern Ohio in Bath, OH (near Akron) with my younger sister Kelly (who now resides in San Diego, CA) and my parents.  I moved to Columbus, OH in 1999 and attended the Fisher College of Business at THE Ohio State University majoring in business.  I joined Accenture after college and have currently been there since that time although I am currently on a leave of absence.  I enjoy traveling, photography, the outdoors/camping/hiking, and spending time at home with Katie, our puppy Hanalei and our kitty Sydney.

I grew up in the Chicagoland area and graduated from the University of Evansville with a bachelors. I began my career at Accenture and I currently work for Nationwide Insurance in Continuous Improvement group.  I enjoy spending my time with friends, family and enjoy volunteering. I recently began volunteering at Nationwide Children’s hospital.
